The CW has released a new official promo for their upcoming Archie Comics-based series Riverdale and thanks to YouTube user “TVPromosDB,” there is also a new “Welcome to Riverdale” featurette taking a look behind the scenes and interviewing some of the cast.
The “Deeper” trailer reveals some spoilers for upcoming episodes of the series, and focuses on the darker side of the series, as Cheryl Blossom’s brother Jason has been murdered and Archie has a vital clue that he’s not revealing. As you can see, Jughead isn’t necessarily Archie’s Pal as the TV series begins.
Riverdale premieres Thursday, January 26, 2017 on The CW, and you can see the two new videos below. The show stars KJ Apa as Archie, Lili Reinhart as Betty, Camila Mendes as Veronica, Madelaine Petsch as Cheryl, Ashleigh Murray as Josie, and Cole Sprouse as Jugheads, with the adults including Marisol Nichols, Luke Perry, and Madchen Amick.
