With a little help from Sarah’s arrows and a timely shot from Moondog, the Copeland family was able to shake the government agents that had been tailing them and reach what could be their final destination. It’s a shot in the dark, hitching their wagon to a possibly immortal radio host at the end of the world, but with the threat of the moon fragments bearing down on Earth, they’ve got no time to second guess anything. They just have to trust that Josh being the adapt that Moondog was looking for will help pull them (and the planet as a whole) out of danger right in the nick of time.
On the season finale of Aftermath, the Copelands try to synthesize everything they’ve learned throughout their time on the road in order to save the world. Lacking the computer necessary to read Gloria’s cards, Josh will have to rely on what he remembers from the conversation with his former colleague, as well as the vision he had of his father and the knowledge that the Tesla Tower near Moondog’s camp can draw in and subsequently damage the Skin Walkers his family has been plagued by. It could be overwhelming, having the fate of the world on your shoulders and only an hour to figure out how to reverse the apocalypse, but Josh’s entire career has been spent studying the mythological elements that have played into the world crumbling; with Moondog’s guidance, this is his moment to essentially fulfill his life’s destiny and spare his family from facing the end of the world. But is there a possibility that Moondog might not know enough to reverse course and prevent Earth from suffering potentially cataclysmic damage?
Elsewhere on Aftermath, Matt goes searching for suddenly MIA Sarah, while tensions between the family grow the closer they get to impact.
