Most Surprising (Possible) Renewal: Superior Donuts. I like the show but it’s not performing as it should.
Show That Likely Won’t Be Renewed But Should Be: Wisdom of the Crowd. Haha, I’m kidding.
Possible Scheduling Disaster: CBS has a number of big guns comedy-wise but a few Me, Myself & I like stinkers always ruin the flow. If CBS makes poor choices here it might not be a good thing.
Possible Biggest Surprise: I would be shocked if CBS did not renew Criminal Minds. I believe it’s one episode away from Episode 300 and it’d be a shame to get that far and then just stop.
Safest Bet: Since they’re both based in Hawaii and come from the same producers, I fully expect a Magnum P.I./Hawaii Five-0 crossover. Maybe through MacGyver in there too. Who says that only DC Comics superheroes get to have all the fun?
Project I’m Rooting For: Especially now that I’m old enough to understand the humor, I really, really want Murphy Brown to be good and can’t wait to see it. I’ve also got high hopes for the Magnum reboot, even though I loved the pitch John Rogers had a few years ago for a show about Thomas Magnum’s daughter. But, obviously these more or less straight up reimaginings do well for CBS, so who am I to judge?
