Deadline is reporting that ABC drama pilot Harlem’s Kitchen has cast Clare-Hope Ashitey (Seven Seconds), The Good Fight‘s Adrianna Mitchell, and The Fosters alum Pepi Sonuga.

Ashitey will play the eldest Rice daughter Zadie, the front-of-house manager at the restaurant who seems to have a perfect life. However, a third-life crisis, combined with her insatiable need to please her parents, threatens everything she holds dear.

Mitchell is set as middle Rice daughter Eden, the sous chef at the restaurant who recently became the first Black chef to earn a Michelin star. Though her work ethic is unparalleled, her ambition might be even greater, as she looks to push her father out of his spot as restaurant owner and head chef.

Sonuga will portray youngest Rice daughter Nina, a mercurial natural talent fresh from doing a three-year bid in prison. She’s always steered clear of the family business, but when she finds herself at a major life crossroads, she might have to reconsider her reticence.

They join a cast that includes Delroy Lindo, Sheryl Lee Ralph, and Miguel Gomez.
