Linda Gray of Dallas fame appears in tonight’s episode of Significant Mother on The CW.

The episode is called “Suffering & Succotash,” and in the episode she plays “Gammy,” grandmother to Josh Zuckerman’s Nate and mother to Krista Allen’s Lydia.

At the recent TV critics’ press tour, we asked actor Josh Zuckerman as well as Executive Producer Tripp Reed about the guest appearance.

“I mean, it’s a dream come true,” Zuckerman gushed about having the former Sue Ellen Ewing playing his grandmother. “She’s the grandmother I always wanted! You know, I mean, she’s sassy, but she’s also very loving… she makes great food… that’s not true at all…”

“Look out for the succotash,” Reed warned.

“She was just a joy to work with,” Zuckerman added, giving a more serious answer. “She came to work ready to play, and she was as lovely as could be.”

Could we be seeing more of her in the show’s future? “She’s just in one episode for Season 1,” Josh said. “I haven’t seen a cut yet, but I have heard she is hysterical.”

Tripp Reed confirmed that she is indeed hysterical. “She is really funny, and we set the table for her to be in some more,” he promised.
