Revolution returns with new episodes tonight at 8PM (ET) on NBC, and tonight’s episode sets off new journeys and new quests for several characters. New alliances will form, and more revelations come to the forefront.

Revolution - Season 2Last week, we visited the show’s filming location in Texas to speak with members of the cast (you can find some others here, and more are coming). Among the many that we talked to was J.D. Pardo (“Jason Neville”), who spoke about his character’s relationship with his father and what his breaking point might be.

“You really don’t forget the past; it’s just that we’re bonded right now with a common goal, and that’s to rescue Mom,” J.D. told us about Jason’s relationship with his father, Tom Neville. “I think that we’re obviously not a family that really talks about it and deals with issues. I think it’s something that Jason would really love to move on from. But until there’s a resolution there, it sticks, which makes it interesting at the same time, because they can explode with each other at any minute. I think Jason’s kind of getting to his breaking point a bit, and Neville is a little psychotic.”

Does J.D. know what Jason’s breaking point might be? “I think at this point, I think it’s more about him now,” J.D. said. “In Season 1 it was really about Charlie. It was about his crush on the girl, and what’s right and what’s wrong. But I think that when you’re being used in war, so to speak, the lines can be blurred a little bit, and the only thing that you have left to look back at is yourself, and say ‘wait a minute. What am I doing? How am I being used? What’s my part in all of this?’ I know Jason doesn’t want to lose himself, so I think that that will be his point; his line that he draws.”

You can see video from the interview, including some additional topics, below. Enjoy, and don’t miss the show tonight at 8 on NBC!
