Grant Gustin guest stars as The Flash on this coming Monday’s new episode of Supergirl on CBS, which reunites him with fellow Glee veteran Melissa Benoist, who, of course, plays Supergirl.

The episode is called “Worlds Finest” and you can see some preview images here.

Flash SupergirlThe cast and producers of Supergirl recently were honored at the 2016 PaleyFest and we caught up with some of them on the carpet before the event. One of the talented people we spoke with was Executive Producer Greg Berlanti, and we asked what he is most excited for fans to see when the heroes meet for the first time on March 28.

“For me, it’s the chemistry that Grant and Melissa have together, and that Grant has with the whole cast,” he says. “Any time you can make either of these worlds or any of these worlds feel larger, I think it makes the shows better, and it in that way, it lives up to our enthusiasm about it.”

And is this crossover different from the mixups we’ve seen between The Flash and Arrow?

“Absolutely,” he says.

“This time, he’s a little bit ahead of her in the superhero learning process, and in that instance, obviously Arrow was a little bit ahead of him. The biggest difference is their nature is so similar. They both really had something really dark happen to them as children, and they somehow remained optimistic and hopeful in spite of that, and so, it’s fun to see their ebullience and their bubbly spirits together.”

You can see video of the interview below. Don’t miss the “Worlds Finest” crossover Monday, March 28 on CBS!
