More Arrow Pilot Casting: Susanna Thompson Is Oliver Queen’s Mom

Multiple media outlets are reporting that Susanna Thompson has landed the role of Oliver Queen’s mother, Moira, in The CW’s Green Arrow pilot, which is called Arrow.

Without spoiling anything, let’s just say that this may prove to be a major character in the series. It’s quite a good role.

Thompson joins the previously-cast Stephen Amell, who plays Oliver Queen, and David Ramsey, who plays bodyguard John Diggle. Her previous credits include the series Kings. (Hmm… from Kings to a Queen!) Also in her past she played the Borg Queen on Star Trek: Voyager. Another Queen!
