Another TV favorite might be making its way back to TV faster than you can say “Xabrielle.”

The Hollywood Reporter had news today about NBC looking into a “modern reboot” of Xena: Warrior Princess from original executive producers Rob Tapert and Sam Raimi. No word yet on how the original Xena actress Lucy Lawless would be involved, though THR says that insiders would like to have her as a part of the project.

Whatever the plan for a new Xena is, it’s being eyed for 2016. The original Xena: Warrior Princess series ran from 1995-2001. You can read the original THR scoop which contains a lot more details here.
