The Vampire Diaries Casts David Alpay As “Professor Shane”

Casting spoiler time: Debuting in the fourth episode of The Vampire Diaries Season 4 is The Borgias’ David Alpay in the role of “Professor Shane,” a college professor who has been described as “a charismatic and attractive teacher” who has ties to Bonnie and the Bennett family.

The character is expected to recur throughout the fourth season. Zap2It’s report seems to imply that the professor might be a researcher about vampires, much like Isobel had been.
