FOX released the trailer for upcoming drama The Big Leap and in it, we see a series of underdogs attempting to leverage their love of dance into a much needed personal victory.
From Liz Heldens (Friday Night Lights), The Big Leap follows a group of diverse, down-on-their-luck characters attempting to change their lives by participating in a potentially life-ruining reality dance show that builds to a live production of Swan Lake. Inspired by a U.K. reality format, the series is an innovative show-within-a-show that takes viewers on a journey of self-acceptance and empowerment at any age.
The Big Leap stars Scott Foley (Scandal), Teri Polo (The Fosters), Piper Perabo (Covert Affairs), newcomer Simone Recasner, Ser’Darius Blain (Charmed), Jon Rudnitsky (Catch-22), Raymond Cham Jr. (Five Points), Mallory Jansen (Galavant), Kevin Daniels (Modern Family) and Anna Grace Barlow (The Goldbergs).
The series is set to air Mondays at 9:00 this fall on FOX. You can check out the network’s full 2021 fall schedule here.
