Claire Holt Could Possibly Be The New Supergirl For CBS

Fans who would watch The Originals and say to themselves that Claire Holt should play Supergirl should probably pat themselves on their respective backs.

TheWrap is reporting that the Vampire Diaries and Originals alum is one of the possible contenders for the role of Kara Zor-El in the CBS Supergirl series. Details about the character can be found here.

Supergirl will be executive produced by Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter (Arrow, Flash) as well as Ali Adler (The New Normal, No Ordinary Family).

Claire Holt can next be seen on the December 8 episode of The Originals on The CW, reprising her role as Rebekah Mikaelson.

    I can’t wait to read who will play Supergirl in the new Supergirl series. It will be interested to who will play the main villain that everyone will love to hated. I hope that it is Claire Holt.
