More Secret Circle Pilot Casting: Shelley Hennig Is Diana

Zap2It has reported that Shelley Hennig has joined the cast of The CW’s Secret Circle pilot in the role of Diana, which the site describes as “the leader of the seven-member coven who has been dating Adam (Thomas Dekker) since childhood.”

Hennig is a former Miss Teen USA who has acted in the soap Days of our Lives as Stephanie Johnson.

Apparently the character is blonde in the books, which will probably cause some controversy just like the casting of the brunette Nina Dobrev did for The Vampire Diaries. (But seriously… LOOK HOW THAT TURNED OUT.)
