Josie’s gotten storylines. Valerie’s getting storylines. If Melody doesn’t get something to do soon she might crack and become Riverdale’s big villain. And, any opportunity to give Asha Bromfield more to do is always a good thing.
Assuming Ross Butler has more availability, Reggie has always been an antagonist of sorts in the Archie Comics universe, though most would just say that he’s misunderstood.
Also, look at him. More Reggie is never a bad thing.
