PowersWalking Dead TV writer Charles N. Eglee is said to be talking to Sony Pictures Television and FX about coming onboard the network’s adaptation of Brian Michael Bendis’ Powers as a writer and executive producer.

The news was first reported by Vulture and then confirmed by IGN.

IGN was also able to get a quote out of Bendis. “All I can say is he is helping get Powers on the air in a big, big way,” he said.

Eglee was one of the Walking Dead Season 1 writers who was let go when the series decided to go with freelancers rather than a writing staff.
