Deadline is reporting that ABC action-adventure pilot Triangle has added Amit Shah (Crashing), Black Sails alum Sibongile Mlambo, Rambo V: Last Blood‘s Diana Bermudez, and newcomer Sarah Catherine Hook.
Shah will play Dr. Owen Patel, another resident of the Triangle who has been here since 1988. Mlambo is set as Lieutenant Priscilla. Bermudez portrays Tama. Hook will be seen as Natalie.
In addition to his role on the BBC comedy, Shah is known for roles on Lilyhammer, Jekyll & Hyde, and The Smoke; Mlambo has appeared on Siren, Teen Wolf, and Lost in Space; and Bermudez’s television credits include Doctors, Keith Lemon: Coming in America, and Hulu’s upcoming Four Weddings and a Funeral. They join a cast that features Mike Vogel (Under the Dome), Edwin Hodge (Six), Mallory Jansen (Agents of SHIELD), Matt Passmore (The Glades), and Lorenzo Richelmy (Marco Polo).
Triangle is part of an ABC drama pilot slate made up of romance The Baker and the Beauty; family drama Heart of Life, starring Harry Shum Jr. and based on a John Mayer song; stalker thriller The Hypnotist’s Love Story; new takes on NYPD Blue and New York Undercover; P.I. drama Stumptown; Until the Wedding, centered around the impact an engagement has on the friends and family of the betrothed; and an untitled legal drama executive produced by 50 Cent.
