Hulu announced on Wednesday that it has set a premiere date for the second season of acclaimed comedy PEN15. The Emmy nominee will return on Friday, September 18th with the first seven episodes of season two, with the second half of the season premiering in 2021.
The series is part of a Hulu programming slate for the second half of 2020 that includes No Man’s Land, a French co-production that chronicles the Syrian civil war through the eyes of a man searching for his missing sister; FX on Hulu limited series A Teacher, based on the Hannah Fidell film of the same name; Marvel’s Helstrom, a live-action series based on characters from Roy Thomas and Gary Friedrich; horror anthology Monsterland; FX on Hulu drama The Old Man, a CIA drama starring Jeff Bridges; FX transplant Y: The Last Man, based on the acclaimed Brian K. Vaughan comic series; and a revival of Animaniacs.
