Chad Michael Murray Returns To One Tree Hill

Richie Cunningham showed up in the final year of Happy Days. Michael Rosenbaum’s Lex Luthor made one last appearance in the final Smallville. Heck, even Janice returned in the final Head Of The Class. The last Dallas brought back Sue Ellen, Ray Krebbs, and even Kristin, the woman who shot J.R.. Now, Chad Michael Murray continues the tradition by appearing in the final season of The CW’s One Tree Hill.

Chad Michael Murray (@ChadMMurray) will make a guest appearance in his original role as Lucas Scott during the final season of ONE TREE HILL, which will return mid-season on The CW.

Murray’s character was last seen driving off into the sunset with his wife Peyton (Hilarie Burton) and their new baby Sawyer. Lucas returns to Tree Hill after Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) reaches out to him for help.

ONE TREE HILL was created by Mark Schwahn and is executive produced by Schwahn, Joe Davola, Greg Prange, Mike Tollin and Brian Robbins. The series is produced by Mastermind Laboratories and Tollin/Robbins Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.

One Tree Hill returns at midseason with the premiere date yet to be announced.
