“This is not Heroes. It is not The Incredibles. This is No Ordinary Family,” he said. “At its core, it’s a family drama about a family that is trying to work through issues.”
Chiklis also talked about the show’s family appeal. “My kids watched the pilot with me and loved it. If you want some violence, watch my previous show,” he joked.

I hope it still has some superhero drama as well.
It definitely does. It really is a good mix… just not over the top or anything like that.
Well I’ll be certainly checking it out when it premieres. I’ve been interested in it since it was first announced.
