Reports from trades including Deadline and Variety have revealed that the Ms. Marvel series for Disney+ has found its Kamala Khan a.k.a. Ms, Marvel.
Even though Marvel and Disney have not yet confirmed this, the reports say that newcomer Iman Vellani has landed the coveted role.
Ms. Marvel is one of several Marvel-based TV series in development for Disney+ – a slate that also includes She-Hulk starring Tatiana Maslany, Moon Knight, a Loki series, the upcoming WandaVision, and Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
No premiere date for Ms. Marvel has been announced yet, but directors for the series have been, and that list includes the Bad Boys for Life team of Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, with others including Oscar winner Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy and Meera Menon.
