Vampire Diaries On Set: Interviews With Ian Somerhalder & Chris Wood

We recently visited the Atlanta sets of The Vampire Diaries, and with a new episode airing tonight (December 4), now is a perfect time to share two of those videos… and why not share the videos that spotlight two increasingly different yet similar characters?

When The Vampire Diaries started, Ian Somerhalder‘s Damon Salvatore was the show’s resident unapologetic bad boy, and now, five years later, newcomer Chris Wood’s Kai seems to be taking that mantle.

In our interview with Somerhalder, which we’re going to send you to look at on YouTube since we don’t want some salty language getting us in trouble by embedding it here – Ian talks about what it’s like to have a special someone who remembers only the bad things, what he thinks of Alaric these days, whether or not Damon would turn off his own humanity again, and more. He also talks about the changed relationship between Damon and Bonnie, and how mad he’ll be if Kai makes his way out.
