The CW’s Supernatural will do something very different for the show’s Wednesday, October 28 episode… they’re doing it from the perspective of the car, the classic Impala that is affectionately known as “Baby.”

“It was certainly different and unique,” Jensen Ackles told us last week when we visited the Supernatural sets in Canada. “We’ve done things that were similar to that, but certainly have never shot an entire show like that. So there was a bit of a learning curve, and I think once Tom [director Thomas J. Wright] figured out how he wanted to do it, then it was just getting used to that setup,” he explained.

Jared Padalecki said that it took a director like Wright to get an episode like “Baby” to work. “To do it all like that, really required somebody with a steady hand,” he said.

You can watch the interview video below, with more to come after the episode has aired. And Warner Bros.? We expect to see that B-roll on next year’s Blu-ray set…
