In this interview, Candice Accola talks about the upcoming seventh season of The Vampire Diaries, including where we find her when Season 7 starts: still grieving her mother, still having a friendship with Stefan, and still trying to distract herself. We’ll also see how the town of Mystic Falls became what it was previewed to be at the end of Season 6, and Candice does tell us that she will be involved in the storyline with the heretics.
Additionally, she talks about the future of Mystic Falls law enforcement now that her mother has passed, whether or not she will have a friendship or a relationship with Stefan, and the possibility of another Originals crossover.
“Not at this point,” she says. “I don’t know if Caroline would want to go visit Klaus, but I know that everyone else wants her to,” she says.
