We’re still not done sharing interviews from this summer’s Comic-Con, and with The Originals season premiere being a few weeks away, on October 6, now seemed like a good time to share some more of them.
“We find all of the characters three months after the finale,” she says about what we can expect in Season 2. “Which is nice, because it’s still fresh, but it’s not as fresh, and we’re painting the same kind of emotions as the finale, but there’s definitely different kind of relationships that are being built, and relationships that have kind of been walked away from a little bit. I think Hayley and Elijah kind of found a bit of a common bond when she was pregnant, and I just don’t think that Hayley’s priority right now is romance, so I think she’s closing herself off, and the best person to close herself off with is Klaus, because he also does the same. They’ve kind of created this nice little friendship, almost, where they bond over being cold,” she says.
