I think I love them for this – here are CBS’s opening titles for their new take on Hawaii Five-O, premiering on Mondays this Fall:
Hopefully other new series will follow suit and make new, good openings. Heck, maybe some returning series could make do with them – who else would love to have the “twirl to the camera and pose” thing on 90210 instead of pretentious imagery like they had last year?
Either way, well played, CBS. I’ll tune in for at least the pilot just because of that.

Looks promising apart from the blatantly obvious ripoff of the NCIS Los Angeles credits at the beginning there, But the original H50 music is still better and this show is still doomed I fear even with cool credits.
