“Miracles” and “The Mountain” are the titles of the two final episodes of God Friended Me that are airing tonight (April 26) on CBS. Guest stars in the series finale episodes include Carl Lumbly and Lonnie Chavis.

The first of the two episodes, “Miracles,” airs at 8PM ET/PT, and in it, Miles helps his new friend suggestion, C.J. (Lonnie Chavis), a young boy who claims an angel wants him to reunite his father, Corey (Cornelius Smith, Jr.), the creator of the God Account’s original algorithm, with Corey’s estranged father.

Then at 9PM ET/PT, we get “The Mountain” which is written by Executive Producer Steven Lilien and directed by Executive Producer Bryan Wynbrandt. Here’s how that one is described:

Miles is forced to examine his lack of faith more than ever before when the God Account sends him his sister, Ali, as a friend suggestion on the eve of her cancer surgery, in the second part of the two-hour series finale.

Sadly, CBS has decided against renewing God Friended Me for Season 3. The producers of the show seem to have been prepared for this being the series finale and it is said to be a satisfying conclusion. Below, you can find photos from both of the episodes.

Cannot believe this sho is cancelled. It is one of the best, if not the best show on television. What are they going to do put rerun movies in its place with a million commercials? I will not be watching Channel 13 on Sundays.

  11. In these isolated and troubling times a show like God Friended Me is uplifting to the mind and soul. We all need a Miles in our lives.

  12. So disappointed by the move to cancel God Friended Me. This show had the best scripts and most believable characters not to mention great actors. Each week I was drawn into the story line as though I was a part of the family of characters.. So many believable people and weekly it shows how one person’s life choices can affect so many other lives. B like the ripples formed from the drop of a tiny pebble into a pond.
