Hulu has released the official trailer for upcoming sci-fi comedy Future Man and in it, we see that direction in life can come from the most unexpected of places.

From Kyle Hunter and Ariel Shaffir (Sausage Party) and executive produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg (Preacher), Future Man tells the story of Josh Futturman (Josh Hutcherson), a directionless underachiever working as a janitor during the day before spending his nights playing video games. When he beats his most recent game, though, his life takes an unexpected turn as he learns that the game was a recruitment tool sent back in time from 2162. Being that he’s the only one who’s ever beaten it, he’s now tasked with stopping Elias Kronish from jump starting a war that will lead to mass casualties.

In addition to Hutcherson, Future Man stars Eliza Coupe (Happy Endings), Derek Wilson (Rectify), Ed Begley Jr (St. Elsewhere), Glenne Headly (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), Haley Joel Osment (The Sixth Sense), and Britt Lower (Man Seeking Woman). The series joins a scripted slate for Hulu that includes Harlots, The Handmaid’s Tale, and The Path.

Every episode of Future Man is set to drop Tuesday, November 14th on Hulu.
