From J.H. Wyman (Fringe), the series follows two agents (Jonathan Tucker, Riann Steele) from two different continents who investigate an alien spacecraft wreckage and its mysterious effects on humankind. Norbert Leo Butz also stars.
Debris is the second drama series order handed out by NBC, joining Law & Order: SVU spinoff Law & Order: Organized Crime, which focuses on SVU favorite Elliott Stabler. The series didn’t end up completing its pilot, but it got about 80% of the way there and utilized techniques similar to The Blacklist to fill out the rest.
NBC recently laid out its plans for the pilots on its 2020-21 slate, committing to film Dan Brown drama Langdon; Night School, a multi-cam based on the Tiffany Haddish film of the same name;
