CSI: Vegas premieres tonight with classic characters like Gil Grissom (William Petersen), Sara Sidle (Jorja Fox), and Jim Brass (Paul Guilfoyle) appearing in the first episode. But beyond that… are more actors from the original series scheduled to appear on the new show?
Executive Producer Anthony Zuiker was asked that very question at the recent Television Critics Association press tour panel for CSI: Vegas, initially responding with “Wouldn’t you like to know?”
Ultimately, he gave a more direct answer, teasing more for the future.
“Look. Anytime we can get any of our veterans back, it’s such a great plus for all of our fans,” he said. “We have a couple more surprises in store; I could probably say that. But the fantastic blend of the original cast members with a brand new, diverse team in 2021 and beyond is such a great treat for the CSI fans and the franchise, and so great to have a brand-new voice going forward.”
