Disney has announced that the second season of praised family comedy Andi Mack will be premiering Friday, October 27th at 8:00. The series completed its 12-episode first season this past June.
From Terri Minsky (Lizzie McGuire), Andi Mack follows Andi (Peyton Elizabeth Lee), a middle schooler who finds out that the woman she always thought was her sister is actually her mother and that the woman who’s raised her since birth is actually her grandmother. The series chronicles Andi’s adjustment to this new life, including her attempts to forge a relationship with her biological mother, as well as her supportive friendship with pals Cyrus and Buffy and her crush on classmate Jonah.
In addition to Lee, Andi Mack stars Joshua Rush (Mr. Peabody & Sherman), Sofia Wylie (Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, & Dawn), Asher Angel (Jolene), Lilan Bowden (Filthy Preppy Teen$), and Lauren Tom (Futurama).
