FX has released the first trailer for its upcoming series adaptation of What We Do in the Shadows.
Based on the 2014 film of the same name, with the film’s creative team of Jemaine Clement (Flight of the Conchords) and Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok) behind the series, What We Do in the Shadows follows vampire roommates Nandor the Restless (Kayvan Novak), self-appointed leader of the group whose Old World tactics aren’t favored by everyone; mischievous Laszlo (Matt Berry); and seductive Nadja (Natasia Demetriou) as they find a renewed motivation to fulfill their mission to take over the world. However, they still haven’t figured out how to go about the whole world domination thing.
In addition to Novak, Berry, and Demetriou, What We Do in the Shadows stars Harvey Guillen (The Magicians) and will feature Doug Jones (The Shape of Water), Jake McDorman (Limitless), Beanie Feldstein (Lady Bird), and Mark Proksch (The Office) in recurring roles.
Joining a comedy slate for FX that includes Baskets, Atlanta, and Better Things, What We Do in the Shadows is set to premiere Wednesday, March 27th at 10:00. You can take a look at the official trailer below.
