Walker Independence will not live to see Season 2, multiple trades are reporting today. The first season, which starred Matt Barr and Katherine McNamara, ran for 13 episodes as a time period Western prequel to the Walker mothership.
Some cast members such as Matt Barr (Hoyt) and Justin Johnson Cortez (Calian) have made their way to Walker at one time or another; could others from this talented cast show up next?
So far, the only scripted CW series renewed by the new Nexstar regime are Walker and All American; decisions on CW shows Superman & Lois, The Winchesters, All American: Homecoming, Gotham Knights, and Kung Fu are still yet to be revealed. Since news is starting to trickle in, we may know more about those shows’ fates soon.
