The CW animated series based on the DC Comics character Vixenreleased earlier this year as a “movie” collection on Blu-ray — is now going to air on broadcast television.

The network has announced that the entire series, featuring Megalyn EK as Mari McCabe/The Vixen and featuring a number of guest voices from Arrow, The Flash, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow including Stephen Amell, Emily Bett Rickards, Katie Cassidy, Carlos Valdes, Grant Gustin, Brandon Routh and more, will be airing Wednesday, August 30 on The CW.

With Mari’s sister Kuasa coming onto Legends of Tomorrow this season and her grandmother Amaya a regular part of that show, this could be perfect background as we enter the new TV season. Did we mention that Vixen comes from Marc Guggenheim and the creative talents behind the Arrowverse?
