NBC has pulled the plug on Undercovers.

The network has chosen not to pick up the “back nine” episodes for the series, and December 1 is the air date for the last episode that is scheduled. (Episodes are also planned for Nov. 10 and Nov. 17). This will leave three episodes to possibly be aired at a later date.

Perhaps the open timeslot will mean we’ll see The Cape sooner rather than later.

  1. this is just such a horrible case of miscasting, also there isnt much room for it, especially on a network where Chuck, a spy show, that has now evolved its relationships, is going form strength to strength… forget making new spy shows, and focus on the AWESOME one you already got NBC !

  2. Once again, I remind you that I CALLED THIS right after the show was announced (go back and check the K-Site entries). There was no way this was gonna fly.

Here’s a direct quote from an NBC insider today on Deadline:
“Unfortunately we never got an audience from the get-go; our abysmal recent rating wasn’t even one point lower than our premiere number.”

That echoed my sentiments from last May.
