AMC has set premiere dates for the second seasons of horror anthology The Terror and Long Beach-set drama Lodge 49.
The former, now subtitled The Terror: Infamy, will return Monday, August 12th at 9:00. Set during World War II, the season tells the story of a Japanese-American community haunted by a series of bizarre deaths and a young man’s journey to understand and combat the entity responsible.
Season two of The Terror stars Derek Mio (G.B.F.) as Chester Nakayama; Kiki Sukezane (Lost in Space) as Yuko, a mysterious woman from Chester’s past; Cristina Rodlo (Miss Bala) as Chester’s secret girlfriend Luz; Shingo Usami (Unbroken) as Chester’s father Henry; Naoko Mori (Everest) as Chester’s mother Asako; Miki Ishikawa (9-1-1) as Amy, a Nakayama family friend; and George Takei (Star Trek) as Yamato-san, a community elder and former fishing captain.
The latter is set to debut Monday, August 12th at 10:00. Season two finds the Ancient and Benevolent Order of the Lynx suffering under Dud’s leadership, which causes Ernie to lose faith in his Squire. Already dealing with Liz’s struggle with their past, Dud remains resolute in his belief that he can restore the Lodge to its former grandeur.
