The Baker and the Beauty Ordered to Series by ABC

ABC has given a series order to romantic drama The Baker and the Beauty, it was confirmed today.

Based on the Israeli series of the same name, with Dean Georgaris (The Brave) developing for American television, The Baker and the Beauty follows the love story between successful model and daughter of a Miami real estate magnate Noa Hollander and Daniel, a simple guy who lives with his parents and runs the family bakery. A chance encounter between the two leads to an unexpected spark that has reverberations through each of their lives.

The series stars Nathalie Kelley, Victor Rasuk, Lisa Vidal, Carlos Gomez, and Dan Bucatinsky.

The Baker and the Beauty is part of a scripted newbie slate for ABC’s upcoming 2019-20 season that includes NBC transplant Emergence, legal drama For Life, multi-cam comedy United We Fall, Black-ish spinoff Mixed-ish, and an untitled P.I. drama starring Cobie Smulders.
