If The CW is a space station, then The 100 prequel series “Second Dawn” has been floated. The introduction to the series aired as a backdoor pilot during the final season of The 100, where the episode was called “Anaconda;” unfortunately, that’s all we’ve got… at The CW, at least.
While it was announced that The CW passed on another backdoor pilot from that cycle, Green Arrow and the Canaries, word from The CW as recently as May suggested that The 100: Second Dawn could still be a thing that would be happening, and it was said that it might have had to be a cooperative thing between The CW and the HBO Max streamer. It might have been telling that cast options expired a year and a half ago, and one cast member – Leo Howard – is now a series regular on The CW’s Legacies.
