It’s a long way from Southfork or Wisteria Lane, but it’s a new job on a fantastic show for Brenda Strong, as she has been cast as Queen Nia of the Ice Nation for Season 3 of The CW series The 100.

Entertaimment Weekly broke this news earlier this week. They also cited a character description, which says that Nia is “holding onto power through ruthlessness and savvy.” It also say that “she does what she must to maintain her power, even when it puts her at odds with those closest to her.”

We, of course, are big fans of Brenda Strong around here for her role as Ann Ryland Ewing on Dallas (R.I.P.), and it is quite exciting to see her in a new role!

No season premiere date has been announced yet for The 100 Season 3.
