An official release date hasn’t been announced, but some encouraging news just the same – the first season of MTV’s Teen Wolf series is coming to DVD soon, as a pre-order listing and box art surfaced on Amazon.com this morning.
The first season of twelve episodes may have been a bit of a surprise to those who watched it with preconceived notions, expecting the comedy of the Michael J. Fox movies. Instead, Teen Wolf the series gave us a fun lead in Tyler Posey’s Scott McCall and an interesting supporting cast with mysteries that kept viewers wondering. Rather than being another pointless TV remake of a movie, Teen Wolf became something unique, much like Buffy The Vampire Slayer did nearly 15 years ago.
Ideally, this set will be out before Season 2 begins later this year, and it’ll be a perfect way for viewers to catch up in time.

Cant wait for Season 2!!!. Season 1 was such a gem. It was so unique and gave me lots of spooks and chills.
Everyone thought this show was going to be terrible but it proved us all wrong. Awkward and Death Valley was also a great surprise.
