NBC is doing a show called Smash this Fall about the production of a musical. So, basically, Glee with grown-ups. And like Glee, the music will probably be better than the show itself.
But hey – at least Jack Davenport from Coupling is in it and Steven Spielberg is producing, right? Still looks like it might be a show that would only appeal to a limited audience.
UPDATE: Forget the snark above. We’ve seen Smash and it’s great… something everyone will enjoy.
