Interestingly, the network will be starting the repeat cycle with the season premiere of Smallville’s eighth season, “Odyssey.” The reason for this hasn’t been revealed, though it could be argued that these seasons were not seen as much the first time around, so these episodes might be “newer” to TV viewers.
Season 8 was the first season after the departures of show creators Alfred Gough & Miles Millar. Michael Rosenbaum also left the series at the end of the previous season, and Kristin Kreuk’s Lana only appeared in five episodes of the eighth year. The season did have some highlights – Lois and Clark began getting closer, a Geoff Johns-penned episode introduced the Legion of Super-Heroes to Smallville lore, and Clark’s career as a “red-blue blur” began to surface. The season also introduced two of the show’s best additions – Cassidy Freeman as Tess Mercer and Sam Witwer as Davis Bloome.

Does this mean we could see season 10 repeats start late December/early November?
I mean, late November/early December…
so dose this mean that they will at some point go back to season 1 because thats what I was really excited for
This is fantastic news I have been a loyal fan of Smallville since season 1 but I have a soft spot for seasons 8-10 so this will be great to see again. I already watch Angel, Charmed, and Supernatural during the week so this addition of Smallville will be a special treat to top it off with all my favorite shows in one lineup!
I didn’t watch Smallville when it first started. I only started watching when season 7 started and Supergirl was introduced, so I hope TNT repeats the earlier seasons too.
I didn’t see Smallville in the beginning, because I was working, but now I’m retired, I have been watching it since Oct 2011. I enjoyed it alot, but now , it’s not on anymore. I heard you lost your writers, get some new ones.
