Apparently having a modern day Robin Hood with Arrow apparently wasn’t enough for The CW.

Adding to the large amount of projects in development, The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that The CW wants a script for Sherwood, a female-slanted series set in 1072 England where “a young noblewoman sets out to free her serf boyfriend, who has been wrongfully imprisoned by ruthless Norman occupiers.” In her quest for help, she ends up reuniting and joining Robin Hood and his Merry Men.

Cashmere Mafia’s Tze Chun is writing the script for CBS Television Studios, and Dan Jinks (Emily Owens, M.D.) will executive produce. So far it’s just a script commitment. Would you watch a Robin Hood show on The CW? Leave some comments below.
