ABC’s Resurrection premieres to big numbers last night, and viewers are probably curious what happens next.

Those viewers are in luck, as ABC has released images and an official synopsis of the show’s second episode, which is called “Unearth.”

“Unearth” – The Langstons, especially Sheriff Fred, are forced to confront secrets from their past they’d rather leave buried when Bellamy pushes to have Jacob’s tomb exhumed. Maggie agrees to help Bellamy in his investigation, and Pastor Tom reaches out to Jacob, his childhood friend. The Richards family adjusts to Caleb’s return, the second for Arcadia. But unlike Jacob, Caleb claims he has no memory of his death, on “Resurrection,” SUNDAY, MARCH 16 (9:00-10:01 p.m. ET) on the ABC Television Network.

“Resurrection” stars Omar Epps as J. Martin Bellamy, Frances Fisher as Lucille Langston, Matt Craven as Fred Langston, Devin Kelley as Maggie Langston, Mark Hildreth as Pastor Tom Hale, Samaire Armstrong as Elaine Richards, Sam Hazeldine as Caleb Richards, Landon Gimenez as Jacob and Kurtwood Smith as Henry Langston.

Guest starring are Veronica Cartwright as Helen Edgerton, Ned Bellamy as Samuel Catlin, Tamlyn Tomita as Dr. Toni Willis, Travis Young as Ray Richards, Jason Saucier as Dale Getheard, Naomi Lavette as desk clerk Tina, Dwayne Boyd as Officer Bobby and Matthew Wingfield Sligh as Eddie.

“Unearth” was written by Thomas Schnauz and directed by Dan Attias.
