Snakes in the Garden“Snakes In The Garden” – Airing October 24

MARY DOESN’T KNOW WHO SHE CAN TRUST – When Simon (guest star Luke Roberts), an English envoy, tells Mary (Adelaide Kane) that the English are aware of her fragile engagement to Francis (Toby Regbo), Mary and Francis put on a show to protect their alliance. Meanwhile, when Queen Catherine (Megan Follows) learns that someone who knows about her plot to destroy Mary is still alive, she stops at nothing to make sure they are silenced for good. Torrance Coombs, Alan Van Sprang, Anna Popplewell, Celina Sinden, Caitlin Stasey and Jenessa Grant also star. Matt Hastings directed the episode written by Laurie McCarthy (#102).

“Kisses” – Airing October 31

MARY CONSIDERS ENDING HER ENGAGEMENT TO FRANCIS – When England’s armies threaten Scotland’s borders, Mary asks King Henry (Alan Van Sprang) for help, but he refuses. Tomas (guest star Manolo Cardona), the son of the King of Portugal, proposes marriage to Mary, promising her aid against England if she’ll abandon Francis and turn to Tomas instead. Francis puts Bash in jeopardy when he lets his feelings for Mary cloud his judgment. Holly Dale directed the episode written by Doris Egan (#103).

“Hearts And Minds” – Airing November 7

MARY AND FRANCIS GROW CLOSER AMIDST THE CHAOS – Mary has to decide if she is willing to lie and sentence a man to death in order to have King Henry let her out of her engagement to Prince Francis. Meanwhile, Francis and Bash are suspicious of Tomas’ true intentions which will ultimately lead to a confrontation with disastrous results. Scott Peters directed the episode written by P.K. Simonds (#104).

  1. I really like Kenna and Mary so far, I hope Kenna doesn’t have to suffer the consequences of her indiscretion too soon. Mary does seem a bit too perfect though. Even if Colin was forced to attack her (she doesnt know why or by whom), he was going to rape her and ruin her honour, which would lead some women – as seen in history – to kill themselves
