The TV pilot Locke & Key, written by Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles’ Josh Friedman and based on the graphic novel series by Joe Hill, was a popular contender for a spot on the FOX Fall 2011 schedule. It didn’t make it, but it got a lot of good buzz.

Now EW.com is reporting that the pilot will be screening at the Comic-Con International in San Diego next month during a Locke & Key panel.

The exact scheduling doesn’t seem to be nailed down yet, but this should be a treat for anyone wanting to see something that didn’t quite make the air.

The Locke & Key comic book continues to be published by IDW.
