Glamorous: CW Pilot Adds Peyton List and Susan Santiago

Deadline is reporting that CW dramedy pilot Glamorous has added Light as a Feather alum Peyton List and Susan Santiago (How to Get Away with Murder). List is set as AlyssaSays, an ultra competitive YouTube personality who works as a cosmetics company, while Santiago will play Julia, a no-nonsense lawyer who tries to control her son’s life path.

From Jordon Nardino (Desperate Housewives), Glamorous follows gender non-conforming YouTube vlogger Marco (Ben J. Pierce), who lands a coveted position at a cosmetics company whose products he panned online. If ordered, the series would follow Marco as he uses makeup, fashion, and his new internship to explore his identity and grow to understand what it really means to be queer.

In addition to her role on the Hulu drama, List’s television credits include Bunk’d, Jessie, and Happy Together, while Santiago has appeared on NCIS, Charmed, and Longmire. They join a cast that includes Brooke Shields, Jade Payton, and Pierson Fode.

Glamorous is part of a development slate for The CW that includes Riverdale spinoff Katy Keene; Jane the Virgin spinoff Jane the Novela; DC-verse spinoff Batwoman; and new takes on Nancy Drew and The Lost Boys.
