NBC Renews Undateable, Night Shift & The Mysteries of Laura

The live show experiment for Undateable on Tuesday night was apparently a success, as NBC has ordered a third season of live episodes. It hasn’t been said yet if the order is for 13 or 22 episodes, nor has it been said if the show will be live for both time zones, as it was this past Tuesday night.

NBC also renewed The Mysteries of Laura starring Debra Messing, and the show will possibly get a bit of a creative retool, with more cop elements and less mom elements. The show got a bit of critical mocking but still managed to stay in the ratings.

Finally, the network has given a third-season order to The Night Shift. The show premiered last summer to good ratings but fell a bit in Season 2.
