One of The Avengers appears on this Saturday’s (May 4) episode of Doctor Who on BBC One and BBC America!
Dame Diana Rigg, best known for her role as Emma Peel in the TV classic The Avengers, is one of the guest stars in this week’s show, which is called “The Crimson Horror.” What, you were expecting the Hulk or the Black Widow?
Here’s how BBC America describes the episode:
There’s something very odd about Mrs Gillyflower’s Sweetville mill, with its perfectly clean streets and beautiful people. There’s something even stranger about the bodies washing up in the river, all bright red and waxy. When the Doctor and Clara go missing, it’s up to Vastra, Jenny and Strax to rescue them before they too fall victim to the Crimson Horror! The Crimson Horror premieres Saturday, May 4, 8:00pm ET/PT as part of Supernatural Saturday.
“The Crimson Horror” is written by Mark Gatiss (Sherlock) and directed by Saul Metzstein (Upstairs Downstairs).
