Now that we’ve seen the fantastic debut of Ncuti Gatwa as the newest Doctor on Doctor Who, Disney+ has released a new teaser for the highly-anticipated 2023 Christmas Special titled “The Church on Ruby Road.”
The special will be released on Christmas Day, December 25 on Disney+, premiering at 9:55 AM PT/12:55 PM PT as the perfect extra gift for Christmas morning. Starring with Ncuti Gatwa as The Fifteenth Doctor is Millie Gibson as the show’s newest companion, Ruby Sunday.
Additional cast in the special includes Davina McCall as herself, Michelle Greenidge as Carla Sunday, Angela Wynter as Cherry Sunday, and Anita Dobson as Mrs. Flood. Here’s how Disney+ describes the special:
Long ago on Christmas Eve, a baby was abandoned in the snow. Today, Ruby Sunday meets the Doctor, stolen babies, goblins and perhaps the secret of her birth.
