HBO has set a Monday, July 1st premiere date for the third season of Divorce.

Season three of Divorce finds Frances still reeling from the news that Robert and Jackie are engaged. Though she’s seemingly reconciled with their breakup and the fact that they don’t work as a unit anymore, Frances feels inadequate in her post-split progress, like Robert is passing her by and she’s doomed to become the “loser” of their conscious uncoupling. This change in their family dynamic causes some much needed soul searching that sends Frances headed in a much needed new direction both personally and professionally.

Divorce is part of HBO’s new strategy of programming Mondays, a pivot in the wake of being acquired by AT&T. Thus far, the premium cabler has aired acclaimed miniseries Chernobyl and British co-production Gentleman Jack on Mondays, while Russell T Davies family drama Years & Years, Helen Mirren miniseries Catherine the Great, and the final season of The Deuce are all set to air on Mondays later this year.
